From the Hardware Dept.

I just picked up a new PowerBook G4 15-inch from my dealer in Hong Kong. They have the 15 and 17-inch models in stock as of today.

As usual I purchased a screen protector to keep away the finger prints. When we tried to place over the screen we found that the viewable area is actually smaller than the Ti so the protector was too large. Unfortunately, I'm in a hotel so can't find a ruler at present.

Another point of interest is that a three year AppleCare Protection Plan (APP) is now availabe for PowerBooks for about US$110 in Asia.

it's just the bezel is now slightly covers the unused part of the screen's edge. as opposed to on the ti where it's all exposed and the bezel is kept very very thin.
