Ok so i got up expecting a lovely email from apple saying "here is the most exciting tracking # you've ever seen, you'll probably memorize it..... but no email, not shipped... still "open, est to ship on or before 9/23/03" guess thats better than having a new date....
Should ship any min now 
Anyone in the same boat? What time did they ship your yesterday?

Ordered 15" 5400RPM, 9:15am EDT, Tuesday 16th ... received shipping notification, yesterday, 22nd, 11:15am. Invoice came approx. 6 hours later.
The invoice includes a waybill number which when plugged into Airborne's tracking refers to a bulk shipment, 10 pieces, 2500 lbs. Presumably the bulk shipment is to Apple Illinois, where it is broken down and shipped to each of us directly.

I ordered at the same time as you... fully loaded 15 inch... supposed to ship today.. .not sure what's going on.
Oh just figured out, it likely hasnt shipped yet from California (if its even coming from there) because it isnt even 6am there
maybe in a few hours, my email will arrive

I think the greater the options, the greater the delay ... short run, of course. Long run you'll be much happier with your maxed-out machine.
I also think your first shipping notice indicates yours is on its way (in a bulk shipment) from Taipei, Taiwan to the States.
