For those of you whos powerbook ships today, hope to god it makes it by Friday.

I just got off the phone with apple about the bto 15 inch powerbook. He said there is a possibility it might make it by Friday. He said it takes 3 days to ship from over seas, and that it might make it by Friday. I would be pissed if it doesn't make it by Friday.
Also Airbourne(sp?) stated that the current apple products being shipped from over seas is taking a long time to get thru customs because they are shipping them in LARGE BULK.

And just to add alittle information, my ipod was with express shipping. It shipped Friday and its not here, its been stuck in customs for 3 days now. So do the math with the powerbooks.

When Apple shipped my 17" PB earlier this year, it made it from Taiwan, to Alaska, cleared customs, to Illinois, Kentucky, and allll the way to the coast of North Carolina in under one business day. It left one night, and was at my door the next day by noon...be hopeful

Mine supposedly shipped yesterday, and I'm not even sure mine will make it by Friday. It depends largely on customs and airborne, which is scary.
