I bought the Crumpler "Very Busy Man" havent received it yet, but im told that is the way to go if you want a bag and not a sleeve for your notebook...
And an additional bonus it doesn´t scream "i am a computerbag!!!"

And is it easy to order/ship to the US? can you take actual pics when you get it ?? and email me or post in a thread labeled bag pics. brucku@nc.rr.com
p.s. How did you know which size fits the Powerbook? Do they have other bags that are a little smaller that will still fit the powerbook?

I have a question
A) The crumpler laptop size specs are reversed on their website
B) The crumpler is meant to hold laptops vertically as opposed to horizontally (typical of messengerbag)
example
Very Busy Man
Laptop size (side to side) : 12
(top to bottom): 14
read: The 15AL will not fit in that bag horizontally, it will have to be stood up? (Height of laptop is 9.5) (Width is 13.7)

I just ordered on for my TiBook. It should arrive by the end of the week. I'll let you know when it gets here. Of all the bags I looked at, I did like it's specs best. And a 15% discount was a nice add-on.

I just called, the dimensions on the US website are wrong. The 15AL will fit perfectly horizontal in the Very busy man, and Barely in the whack a phone.
Can someone still take pics or post pics of your Very busy man or whack a phone when you get it ?

I have another question, while I'm leaning towards the racer-x case. I started comparing the powersleeve from booq and the brain cell from tom bihn. the brain cell seems to be rigid while the powersleeve is made of nylon.
Any users of either bag have comments or recommendations? a small case/sleeve has some definite advantages and for my purposes I don't think I would be sacrificing too much.
I'll need to contact both of them to see if the 15" al fits either one.
[edit] I had major spelling errors [/edit]

I have a Kensington Saddlebag.

I'm going to be buying a new 15", do you think it will fit? The dimensons of the case compartment are smaller than the 15" but it sure seems like it would fit but looking at the bag. Maybe I'm underestimating the size of it by eye.

I am looking to buy the Cargo Bag from Waterfield. Not only is it a perfect bag, with or without a laptop, but I e-mailed Gary asking if I could get one with no leather on it and he was very accomodating and said he could. That is customer service at it's finest! The bag is a little expensive, but I don't mind spending the money for quality protection of my new laptop.

Ok i've been narrowing it down.... I think i've come up with 3 choices
1) The Wack-a-phone from Crumpler (mesesenger bag w/ built in padding)
Link
2) The McBain LoveChild from Crumpler(sleeve sized bag w/ some room)
. Link
3) The Medium sized Cargo suite spot from Waterfield
