I just wanted to see what everyone thought about this.

Alot of people like to wait a generation after a product is released so they can get a buggy-less machine.

From what I have been hearing the new 15' is pretty much a revision B, that was tweaked from the 12' and 17'.

Maybe Apple had this in mind all along.

For instance I heard the heat issue is resolved. Also something about a better latch. Also they now support for DVD-R 2X (and not just a hacked bios). Everything seems to be a definant improvement except for the battery.

All in all I think this is truley a revision B product. So that should ease the minds of the non-early adopters.

I wouldn't say the heat issue has been resolved in the new 15-inch. It still gets scorching hot in areas; it's just positioned away from the user. Regardless, Rev. B? I'm not even thinking about it. It's safe to buy now. The next 15-inch may still have the G4. We'll see. But it's safe to go into the water.
