I was just checking online marketplaces, and I couldn't help noticing the pre-G3 powerbooks that switch owners for under 40 $. They come complete with adapter and battery. That's just freakin cool, girls and boys ! I want to fill a wall with these things ! If I buy 1 powerbook a month, then in a couple of years I've got 38 digital photoframes !

I had thought about selling my Powerbook 150 on ebay but I just can't bring myself to do it....

That reminds me! I've got an old 145 I've been intending to sell. There's one more digital picture frame for ya.

Creating photo frames is easier said than done

Once you get a decent machine, it is simple to do the conversion, but there are a lot of misrepresented powerbooks on ebay. The first 540c I bought actually had a 520c (passive matrix) screen. The second one was advertised as great condition, but came all banged up. There are a few dead pixels, but you can't see them once the slide show starts.

But after all the hassles, I've got a cool little frame on the bookcase pumping out photos!
