Hi guys,

I'm writing from Cadiz (Spain) where my brother is competing in the Worlds Sailing Championships for Olympic classes. I'm enjoying my long-waited vacation watching the races, drinking Sherry, and enjoying the beautiful Spain. A beautiful spot, trust me.

Sailing Worlds

Very massive event more that 2000 sailors from 76 countries with superb location and organization, even the wind is great (very close to Tarifa probably the best spot in Europe for windsurf...). We even have public wireless internet access. Sadly, not many taking advantage.

However, just two Mac users (as far as I know) an 14 inch iBook owner from the States and me using my old TiPB 400.

And here we are, voice chatting with our friends and my advisor using iChat, getting some work done accessing my server at the UW-Madison, updating my Home Page, making almost real time movies of the races using iMovie, using iPhoto to process my photos, and of course using email and internet without any problems.

On the other hand, very few PC guys (even the ones with brand new models) can access internet, their batteries run out of juice in less time that I require to drink a "fino" (and I'm a damn good drinker...and getting better ), we better not talk about voice-chat or making movies, etc.

Of course, they can not believe that I totally outperform them using an almost three years old computer...

You should see their faces when yesterday night I connected my 10 GB iPod to a massive amplifier and played my tunes... huge party by the way...

At least my brother is considering a Mac now (he can not access to internet and uses my TiPB...

My first switcher?

I'll let you know...

Hello again

My brother just ordered a new iPod, It will take him longer to move plataform.

He end up poorly (13), but got the country classified for the Olympics next year in Athens. Of course, we celebrated it a lot.

My younger brother is seriously considering a 12" AlPB.
