My Powerbook is days old. When in Final Cut Express, the keyboard suddenly stopped working. Well, most of it - volume/eject etc. fine. But no numerical keys/lettered keys, etc.

I plugged in a USB keyboard, used this for a few moments, then the P/book keyboard sprang back into life.

Any ideas what might have happened. I thought this thing was a tank and now I'm getting a little worried.

maybe micro gremlins....

could be a software or driver failure, things like this happened. similar to when my internet stopped working for a day for no apparent reason. and i know it's only my machine since other two comptuers worked. and i dind't toy wth any settings.

if it happens again, you might want to get it looked at.
