Hello All--

If you've been following by stupid saga, I finally decided to open my Ti.

It is refurbished and I didn't except it to look new, but the screen is really dirty and there are noticable marks on the case. Espically around the screen.

First, is this normal for refurbished products from apple?

What is the safest way to clean the screen?

What is the best way to clean the powerbook casing itself? Espically the plastic surroudning the screen... it seems like one false move and you could F up your screen!

I live near the apple store and they sell iKlear products so I assume those work.

I have used a few screen cleaners on my ibook and they always seemed to leave behind a mark. Sometimes I felt that they were too rough and left scratchers on the screen. coudl be wrong.

I bought some from staples... but I think that was a bad idea since they only sell PC's.

I used to be more anal that I am, so the blemishes dont' bother me, just mostly the screen... looks like sticky stuff is on the screen.

Let me know what you think.

I can't believe the difference in screen size between this and the 12 ibook.
