Well, notice that the number corresponding to that issue is lower than most of the other case numbers. It may state the DVI version, but may in fact reflect something they check for all the 12" pb. Considering the fact that it states in the US and no one has recieved the new 12" yet, it's probably referring to the 12" line as a whole. Like many have stated in regards to wobbling before, due to the smaller size, it's expected that a the 12" would exhibit wobbling easily than 15" and above due to the smaller width of the units.

what exactly is meant by the "captured" part? does that mean that my wobbly PB is going to be pillaged by pirates while I sleep?

This is the one I had on my first 15" that I returned the first day......

They are just spots of discoloration on the LCD screen...what look to be white spots.

Capture as in captured by Apple as examples of the problem to send back to check for the wobble and find a solution.
