'Sorry, the Official 15" Status Thread is getting awfully long ... my question: is College Station, Texas an Apple Distribution Center?

That is, do all of our Made-In-Taiwan AL PowerBooks first go through customs in Chicago and then have to go to College Station ... where I assume they're broken down into individual shipments. nIn my case, that means going all the way back to Portland Maine.

Needless-to-say, Hair Borne doesn't offer much in the way of, what shall I call it, TRACKING INFORMATION!!!!

OK ... foget this thread ...

Yes, it seems they do go through College Station (say "hello" to the Aggies) ... but then Apple apparently overnites them to your own particular warm and cuddly home town ...
