Is the speed difference between these two powerbooks noticeable? I plan on using programs such as Apple Soundtrack and maybe some final cut express. Any input would be helpful.

The new 1,25ghz is about 30% faster than the 1ghz Ti when it comes to the prossessor.

No, because the new prossessor is faster per mhz.
