ok... it's off topic
but we are using the powerbook 17"
i'm still on the Gateway right now as the wife (Carol) is dilligently attepting to set up our homepage. that, however, reminds me that i also need:

1. a new digital camera that is simple to use for the 9 year old daughter as well

2. new MiniDV camera

i feel my retirement being pushed back to the age of 78 !

greg
Enjoy the ride... not just the destination

I just bought the Sony TRV22 DV camera as well as Final Cut Express. Works great.

FYI...be careful of purchasing Canon DV cams, they don't work all that well in low light conditions indoors.
