Who here has succesfully returned their online order units? Why did you send it back? Whats your estimated time of receiving your unit back? Are they fixing it or replacing it? I just missed apple today, but tomorrow they will be sending me out a box so that I can return this 15.2" albook because of a dent by the power adapter(back left corner) and 2 grouped bright spots on the LCD. They said they need to establish it as D.O.A in order for me to get a replacement. I am no opting for getting the case fixed or the lcd replaced, I want them to build me another BTO config(superdrive with the 5400rpm) so I am guessing its going to be about 2 weeks till I see the unit. Anyone else already start the process? Perhaps we should start a 15.2" Albook support group

Still in stage 1, waiting for RMA box to arrive. Returning because of 8 stuck pixels + two groups of white spots on display. Estimated turnaround time was 5-10 business days, per phone call last Thursday.

Bad thing is, nothing shows up for me yet at AppleCare "repair status" page.

Sent mine in for replacement today. They promise that replacements are sent top priority, but no word yet. (I sent the PB back in its original box.)

Yeah this whole time I was debating whether I should just keep the unit but then at the same time why should we? We paid top dollar and in my mind Apple is the Mercedes Benz of computing, its like getting a brand new SL 600 off the showroom floor with a small dent in the back fender and broken gas gauge. I will be updating daily with what is going on with mine. I really want to see if we will get top priority. This is also a chance for us to change our configs I think if we so choose. I personally dont want to wait another 2 weeks for another computer so I might just opt for the 4200 rpm drive superdrive stock model in order for it to ship out sooner. I mean I would expect them to refund my extra money as well. I will let you guys know tomorrow when I talk to them. I think you can check your repair status at customer.apple.com/RepairStatus, at least thats what I remember them saying. So for all you with a repair order number see if there are any updates there. Hopefully we will all get mint condition units the second time around, if for some reason I get another damaged unit I don't know what measures I might take.
