Hello,

I have just bought a Airport Extreme Base Station for my 17" Powerbook, but now I'm seeing that some people bought a Airport Card for their Al book to work with the AEBS. Why question is... why? doesn't the Al books already comes build in with Airport Extreme with g standards? why in the world did those people use a Airport card with their Al book for? I'm confused.

12" and 15" don't come standard with the Airport Extreme card. They are options. Your 17" has it built in on all configurations.

the 15 inch superdrive has built in airport extreme card i believe, just not the 15 inch combo
