I was wondering if this is possible? Has anyone ever tried?

Or can you order online from a store and then pick it up as opposed to waiting?
Hmmmm..... maybe not!

Yes you can definately use the educational discount in the stores, I did it at the Atlanta store. Just bring a student ID or current schedule print-out, and they won't give you any trouble.

No problem! On a slightly related note, I discovered that Microcenter will accept the Apple loan as payment. This was great news to me, because Microcenter often has great buys on returned/refurbished Apple products.

I'm curious if my U.K. student ID will allow me to purchase at a discounted rate at the Apple Store in the U.S.. I'm doing my Ph.D. there, but am currently living here while I write my dissertation....Any thoughts/experience?
