I would like to upgrade my memory. I live in Canada, and none of the online stores in canada that sell memory have pages dedicated to memory for macs. (i'd like to buy from a canadian store cuz UPS brokerage fees are ridiculous!) All I know is that the memory for the 15 inch powerbooks are supposed to be DDR PC2700 333mhz sodimm. Are there different number of pins associated with the PC2700 sodimm memory? or are they all the same. I dont want to buy one (they all seem to have 200 pins from what I've seen) and end up finding out that apple uses 184 pins for some weird reason and dont go with the standard.

Thanks!

Kingston Memory is not too cheap, but is meant to be of the very best quality.

Thanks, but they ship from the states, and I have a feeling brokerage fees are going to be huge.

Also, could someone answer my question about if the PC2700 memory are standard i.e. same # of pins , or might I end up buying a PC2700 ddr sodimm memory that will not fit into my 15inch al powerbook?

thanks

To answer the standard Q, just make sure you get a DDR333 or PC2700 DDR SODIMM, it shouldn't matter who nor where from, it'll just work.

Yep! And for the heck of it, try looking at www.dealram.com and www.ramseeker.com for RAM in Canada.
