On October 1st, I went down to the Apple Store, and picked up a Superdrive 12" AlBook. It is a flawless machine. I will write a review later on, and if I can buy a camera, post pictures. (step by step, out of box)
There is an issue however. It seems that Power MAC G5 s are not the only one which can't run Virtual PC 6. It seems this is problem arised by the 10.2.7 Jaguar.
10.2.7 comes installed on the Powerbook. I tried installing the Virtual PC 6. Everytime I try to install, it says:
" Virtual PC must be launched from a Mac OS Extended Volume "
I checked the drive, and the volume is already Mac OS Extended. I also tried a clean install, with Mac OS Extended formatting, NO GOOD!
VPC 6 worked great on 10.2.6 with 6.1 update installed. BUT NOW! I can not even get 6.0 installed!
Does anyone have the same problem? Any solutions to this? Or is it an issue because of 10.2.7?
Regards,

6.1 works fine with 10.2.7 on my 17" , you might want to try copying the install from another computer and updating it to 6.1.
I haven't tried vpc on on my 12" yet w/10.2.7 it works with 10.2.6 though, albeit slowly.

I installed 6.1 from scratch on top of 10.2.6 and am currently running 10.2.8 on a 17" with no problems.

What type of media are you trying to install from? Apparently it's not the original Virtual PC install CD.

Thanks for everyone.
It seems I figured out the problem.
I made a copy of my Virtual PC from my iBook to my external USB Hard disk. It seems something happened to the install files, and when I copy them back to my Powerbook, it produces this error. I also tried this on a friends iBook , 10.2.6, same thing.
It seems I need to get the CD back, and make a clean install all over again.
Regards,
SG
