I really like the mouse, but how about 200 US$ for the set? I remember paying 7 bucks for a mouse and a free keyboard !

I live in a squatted building, we don't have electricity except when the generator is running. so bluetooth is nice, but only when there is juice in the batteries we just won the legal fight with the owner, we are supposed to get electricity in an month. we do have running water.

...fascinated with the whole squatting thing. I'm curious; did the landlord do something bad; neglect, what? (I lived in SF, CA for a while, and know a bit about the squatters' rights-thing...explain more. You could point to a page, if you like since this is way OT.

Anyway, if I were you, I'd go for whatever holds the longest charge and most trouble-free. I don't know if the Logitech has switches like the Apple ones (smart). But the Microsoft ones always had great ergonomics. I wonder if the Logitech does have best of both worlds...my last experience was their drivers crashing OS 9, a while back. Also, Macs seem like second-class citizens in their world, it appears.
