Has anybody experienced problems with waking the 15" from sleep?

Ran into that problem yesterday...

I also noticed the short battery life, which occurred b/c I had to pop the battery out to get the PB to respond, after I took it out and put it back in, I was able to get the keyboard to respond again. Weirdness. But that's when I forgot to plug the power in...so by the time I woke up, the PB was dead.

If it does happen (or in the case of the OS X freezing on this laptop), is there anything I can do to restart the computer short of yanking out the battery after disconnecting the power adapter? On a tower, I can just press and hold the power button to shut off, but here, the same thing doesn't appear to work.
Now I know, and knowing is half the battle!

Just happened to me for the first time, the machine was asleep whilst I was at lunch, came back - refused to wake up. The power light was pulsing as was the light on my Powermate, but the machine did not want to know. The Eject button refused to function as well.

I did notice that the machine was making a very faint purring noise (hmmm was that the sound of Jaguar?) as if a fan was spinning, but AFAIK the entire machine was idle.

I used to get similar problems from time to time on my iBook, so I'm not overly concerned - yet.

Best wishes,

Mike.

ok...thanks.

Yeah, luckily...I think it was just an issue of power that 2nd time. I had inadvertently let the battery drain within 2 short hours.

Happy Halloween!
