So I thought, as this is pure excitement (mixed with some frustration) for me, that people may want to follow along as I await my new 12"
Specs: 1Ghz/256Mb(with a 512 stick sitting on my desk)/80Gb/Combo/APX
The story so far...I ordered 9/16/03, and was scheduled to ship 9/25, with standard shipping.
On the morning of the 25th, they bumped my shipping to overnight - I was psyched. Then on the afternoon of the 25th, they delayed my shipping until 10/3.
Then a few days later they downgraded my shipping to 2 Day (Still better than what I ordered).
Now its 10/3, 2:30 in the afternoon (EST), and the Apple store still lists shipping on or before TODAY! But my credit card has not been charged...we'll have to see-

I think that when that bump your order back, overnight shipping should be automatic.

Would appear to be delayed way over here in foggy old England too. My delivery date has been and gone. And not a word (Didnt order from the Apple store tho, as their shipping methods are a joke over here). So, erm.. Anyones guess really..

Shouldn't be long now. I'm guessing mine was in the same shipment as yours. Same ship date, same stuck in Alaska Customs. Same machine too, and mine got delivered this morning, 10/7.
