Everyone,

Long time listener, first time poster :-)

I curently have a 17-inch AL PB, the previous 1 GHz model.

I do alot of traveling and recently had an incident where the aircraft screeners "dropped" my slimline leather case with the PB still inside. As a result, I have a small bump in the front-left corner of the laptop. According to Apple, it will cost about $300 (parts and labor) to replace the bottom cover.

Rather than doing this, would there be any interest in trading someone for a smaller version of the Aluminum Powerbook? Preferably, I would like to have a 15" Aluminum Powerbook with similar specs, such as SuperDrive and the lighted keyboard.

Other than the small scuff indicated earlier (I could send a picture, if that's a concern), this model has 1 GB RAM, 60 GB 5400-RPM HD, and is otherwise in perfect condition. I would like to do a one-for-one swap for the 15" PB (new 12" models might be okay, but I'd prefer the 15") , as I think the 17-inch model is a bit too big for my frequent travel needs.

Leather slimline case, Brenthaven case, extra battery, and an Airport Extreme base station are included. Of course, all original packaging is included, as well as FEDEX Overnight delivery.

Let me know if you're interested! I'm more than willing to provide further details on request. I'm based in Milwaukee, WI.
