Exactly, all 2ofme, thanks for bringing this up.
If you don't believe this, compare year old iBooks, PowerBooks, Dulls, to new versions of the same. And if anyone actually dares to say that the newer LCDs are "brighter", I really hope they include the age of the systems that they are directly comparing it to.
And for what it's worth, the 15" Ti PB has the brightest LCD of any laptop I've seen. Not only that, it's also had the greatest longevity. I've used mine day in day out for almost a year (10-15 hrs day) and still rarely need to go past 50% for brightness. I haven't seen or used the 15" Al. I should also mention that I've seen far faster fade rates on the iBook screens.
