I am goin to college next year for graphic arts and i am gonna be spending alot of time in photoshop for school and fun right now i am stuck with the emacs at my school(well i guess stuck is the wrong word)but i want to be portable and i was planning on a new 15" al book but al this news of white spots is worrying me should i still get one and hope for the best or should i get something else. any input would be greatly appreciated

I'm a graphic design student and I had to make a similar decission though i would be stuck with 350MHz imacs running OS9!!

Get the 15" if you can afford it, i should be getting mine next week.

If you are starting next year and don't need it now you may want to wait until it is closer to when you need it. I love my 15" Albook but some of them have a few wrinkles, if you wait you made get a better product pehaps even a next generation.
