640 megs 60 gb hard drive. i guess another questions would be, does the lack of L3 cache really matter that much?

Yes

The L3 cache (Or small L2 Cache) makes all the difference.

it depends on what you plan too do with it.

Even the new Rev. B's don't have L3 cache...but they've got double the L2 cache of the Rev. A's. In gaming and high-load apps., L3 cache comes in handy, though.
