	oye! so i ran XBench and compared it to other similar computers .... apparently the Fujitsu MHT2080AT 4200RPM hard drive kicks the booty out of my Hitachi IC25N080ATMR04 4200RPM drive ... by up to 25-40% on some tests it seems. would the amount of data i have on my drive influence the results? not cool. [edit: i just realized i have not enabled journaling on the drive yet either, which could further reduce write speeds. oye oye! enabling journaling is recommend, correct?] (Last edited by vancenase; Oct 5, 2003 at 08:07 PM. )
