I think you type in MacNN or macnn or something similar to that in a discount/coupon section at check out. I tried it a few weeks ago and it showed a 15% discount but my total price was no different than the pre-discount price.
Maybe when you actually proceed with check out the amount changes, I didn't want to chance it!

Despite the flimsy strap on my 12" bag, which I replaced with a more robust one, I love my Booq bag. It's perfect if you need *ONLY* your laptop and not much (if anything) else.
Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Do a search for them to find others who've had issues... Mainly a lack of communication concerning orders.

Call me a moron if you want, but I have the 15" powersleeve and it says the shoulder strap is detachable. How do you detach it?? heh

interesting that you replaced teh strap.. the lady at my work with one of these bags had it tear this weekend. Not a good thing given she has only used it 10-14 days... i think i will have to search for another vertical bag.
any ideas?

On my PowerSleeve17, the strap connects to the bag under a piece of fabric on the side. The clips to remove the strap are tucked safely inside this little pouch, one on each side. You've got to give it a decent squeeze, but mine pops out without a problem.
Also, my initial reaction to booq was not good, but that would change. I had ordered my bag before the end of the school year as I was told by customer service it would arrive before I had to fly back home. The bag never made it and I was ticked. I called up customer service and they quickly fixed the problem by express shipping a second bag to my permanent address. I got the bag about a week after the fact (I live in Hawaii and shipping takes forever in general). So in the end, I have positive things to say about booq customer service. They were very polite and responsive throughout the whole ordeal. I definitely recommend them.

type "MacNN" in the coupon/disount field when you checkout and you get 15% off. It worked for me.
I purchased the PowerSleeve 17 about a week ago and it's doing wonderfully so far. The service was fine too. I ordered it and a couple days later it was here.
I like the vertical orientation. It's a really nice sleeve if you're looking to take your PB and not a whole ot else. It's great for my 17", along with the power adapter and my wireless mouse which is all I ever carry around.
It seems well built but I suppose only time will tell with that.

I ordered the 15" sleeve using the coupon code and my order reflected the discount and got to me within a few days. I have nothing but good things to say about them and their product. This is one solid bag.

I performed "surgery" on my Booq bag and didn't notice those clips tucked inside the little pouch 'til afterwards. Call me the moron.
