My new 15" 1.25 GhZ combo is absolutely perfect. I've never been so happy with a computer. It's snappy (even when doing Final Cut renders or running Quake), has a beautiful bright screen, and feels like it will last. I look over to my 400mhz tiBook (which was 200 dollars more when I bought it than the Al 15") marred with paint chips and without a combo drive, airport, bluetooth, firewire 800 and 60% of the speed of my new 'book, and I can only be happy with my decision to buy this computer. Forget the powerhouse 20-pound PC laptops and the 4 oz PC notebooks. No computer maker (with the possible exception of IBM) has stuck such a perfect balance between performance and portability as Apple has here. Just my 2 cents. Consider these the words of a hopeless romantic.
