I'm just running pixel test right now and it seems stuck on colour red (the first one of the test)...is this normal? how long is it supposed to take?

this is too funny.

No, there is no way that the program it's self can scan every pixel and somehow figure out if it's broken or not.

All this program does, is show the primary colors that the display uses, so it's easy to find dead pixels or pixels that are stuck on one color with your eye.
