Have had my 15"/1.25 for 20 hrs now and it is great. It came w/the 80GN HD (http://www.barefeats.com/hard34.html) !!

Quake III arena at highest settings is super smooth.

It was good to calibrate the display in the display system pref.

Am very happy with this machine.

Have you noticed any QUALITY control issues with the screen or and of the keyboard dilemmas discussed earlier?

How long have you had your 15" and are you happy with it? I received a 17" three weeks ago Dead on Arrival and sent it back--hugely frustrating for a first time Apple buyer. I decided to opt for a 15" which arrived this morning. With all the problems discussed in this and other forums and with a new OS due Oct 24th, I wonder if I would be better off not even opening the box and shipping it back to Apple. I've already logged over 4.75 hours on hold with them over various shipping and ordering CHAOS. I'm floored by all the BS I've had to put up with thus far and wondering what kind of impact this is going to have on other first time customers like myself... Any sugestions out there?

Just got my BTO today, 5400HD, one 512MB chip, CDRW/DVD combo drive, absolutely perfect. Of course I will be watching to see if those white spots appear, but I think Apple had already identified and corrected the problem, I think that accounted for the delayed shipping. God this thing has a huge screen.
