I love my powerbook to death, it's flawless, except...I found a tiny little white spot today. I can only see it against a white screen...I almost have to look for it!
I'm tempted to just keep it. Is it that big of a deal if the problem doesn't get worse? Anyone else in my position?

Albook, 1.25, 5400 drive, 1 gig ram, backlit keyboard

If you have Applecare and it doesn't bother you too much, I would be tempted to keep the machine and have it fixed at a later date... That is what I'm doing with a Ti at the moment at work which has a very slight fault.

However it is just so not good... a new machine should be perfect, and you should get the pristine machine you paid for.

It is a tough choice.

For my money, I would keep returning it until you get an absolutely perfect one... but then again that is just me.

Good luck with the decision,

Marc

P.S. What is Apple doing with these thing! The 15" Alu must be the most returned machine in Apple history bar the 5300!
