I received a demo disc from a magazine that is devoted to Macs and decided to try it last night. However, when i tried to unzip the file, it said stuffit expander quit unexpectedly but didn't harm the files or computer. Does this mean that the cd is bad (first time trying to unzip something), or is my Stuffit Expander corrupt? Please let me know. I'm an apple Noob, and can anyone recommend any books for getting to know the Apple OS? Thanks!

Stuffit crashes all the time for me. Always has since OS X came out, and happens on all my machines.

I always thought it was just one of those things.

I find if I open Stuffit and drag files to it, it is much more stable.

However, it has never ever done any damage when it crashed so I never worry.

Peace,

Marc
