I am sure that this has been disccused before however I have not read up on it. My PB 17 (bought in Jan) is very loud when the fan comes on. I never noticed it before however lately it seems to be coming on more frequently and the noise is unbearable. It sounds sick and the noise changes if I move the PB back and fourth. It seems to come on more often when I am scanning using a USB powered scanner or when playing certain graphics intensive games. Is this noise normal? Is there anything I can do about it? Can I send it back to apple to fix? Does the new PB 17 have the same fan noise issue?

Thanks, Bob
