I have a netgear dg814 router with a built in adsl modem. I have a 512 mb broadband connection. I would love to get a base station for my new powerbook but I'm not sure if this will decrease my download speed. Will i get the same speeds downloading from the internet over airport as i would if i was just connected to my router.
thanked in advance

I guess your broadband connection is 512kbit/sec and not 512mbit/sec If I'm right, then you won't see any difference... Airport is 11mbit.... that's 22 times faster than your DSL link.
