Hi All,
I have a Powerbook G4/1 GHZ 17" that is having problems starting up.

I'm trying to find any possible solution to getting her back to life before I have to resort to a fresh-install (and loss of my precious HD data!)
The problem started when I let the battery drain overnight in standby mode. Upon plugging in and restarting, everything appears normal (the superdrive spins, the HD makes some noises) until I reach the grey Apple screen. There it quiets down and then just hangs forever.
I've forced reboots, taken the battery out and back in, unplugged and replugged. I patiently let it try to go through a start up routine and get through the grey screen for a few hours. Nothing.
I pulled out the Apple wartime book: I zapped the PRAM, booted from CD and ran Disk Repair and Fix Permissions utilities, booted into Single-User mode to perform fsck -y, reset the PMU...all apparently solving nothing.
I did an option-Startup and performed a hardware test. All appeared OK.
At this point, I'm attempting to procure a copy of Disk Warrior to see if it can possibly save the day.
Has anybody experienced the same ailment on their Powerbook? Any possible things I might not have tried that you all think might bring my 'book back to life?
Thanks!
