I'd like to get new keys for my AlBook 12. I want keys without the number pad. Therefore I need new:
6 7 8 9 0 -
u i o p
j k l ;
m . /
Can I get hold of these keys without the little numbers in the corner? I assume Apple must make them, since international keyboards won't all have the numbers in the same place.
(Before you ask, I want these because I'm a Dvorak user. When I rearrange my keys, it looks messy if there are little numbers scattered around.)

What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.

If you can type Dvorak, why do you even need to look at the keyboard and be distracted by the numbers?
In any case, I don't think you're going to have much luck getting key caps of those letters without the numbers. All keyboards have the numberic keypad, including foreign ones.

I don't need to, but I like my keys to look pretty! A typical Mac-user obsession of form over function I guess, but still...
I know they all have a numpad, but on some foreign ones then the letters might be in a different place. Like, for example, my U key has a 4 on it. But on some foreign keyboard or other the U might be somewhere to the left of the keyboard and thus avoid having a number on.
Anyone know if there's a list of the available keyboard layouts for the PBG4 anywhere?

ehm...the qwerty layout would be the same no matter where in the world you are. There are some tiny differences (Like we have 3 extra letters here in norway, זרו) Looked into it a bit, and think you will struggle to find replacement for all of them...
silver paint anyone...?

Good luck physically getting them, purchasing keycaps is hard.

Well, I don't think that every country uses QWERTY...
I know that France uses AZERTY and Germany uses QWERTZ... don't think either of those layouts would help, but there might be some that would...
If only Apple would offer a Dvorak layout as an option. That'd be the best solution.

there is a japanese company doing keys for the powerbook (Ti), but I cannot remember the name of them...do a search on macnn, and it will come up. They make different coloured keys and keys without letters on them amongst other things...
that would be cool actually...dvorak layout and no letters on the keyboard...you wont have anyone trying to borrow your laptop...that's for sure...
