ddriving 2 hours today. i usually never shut down the powerbook. please tell me about the nebulous phenomenon of "head parking" on the drive of this APPLE... please...

am i better off going over the occasional pothole with the computer shut down or can i leave her just sleeping?

thanks again, as always, in advance

greg

Your HD isn't moving when your PowerBook is sleeping. Let her sleep.

My PowerBook is always asleep when moving, even when I drive to work with my Ducati... which isn't the most comfortable ride for hardware... but no problems...

I always leave it asleep.

I hate to wait until it reboots. ( about every 3 weeks.... just in case!)
