I need to remove the 'Q'-key to see if I've got some dirt under it. It sort of sticks when pressed and it has a different type of sound compared to the other keys.

How difficult is it to remove a key? Is it just to stick a knife under it and lift it or?

I'd get a can of compressed air and depress all the other keys around the stuck key and shoot a blast under the stuck key from all sides before I pulled a key off.

Great advice! compressed air usually dislodges anything that could be stuck under there...

Removing a key, especially one on an Alu would for me be a last resort tactic...
