I have the 15 inch albook and in the past couple of days some letters on my internet browser have been dissolving! they generally have some funky colour associated with them as well....do I have a lemon?

Or, is this a software issue, I did a clean re-install of os x today and did all updates from the net, Could the updates be responsible? all your thoughts are welcome.

ps. they are happening as I write this!!!!!!!!!!!

You know, I don't remember exactly when and where, but older portables have suffered this problem in the past. I believe it was due to a third-party app, but don't quote me on that. I'd search macfixit.com with a short descriptive phrase of the problem. Hopefully someone else here will remember better than I.

pheww....I'm very happy if it's because of a software issue. The dots tend to move with the screen if I move the window.....very strange!
thanks for the reply
