hey all,

can anyone tell me which were the first release of powerbooks that had DDR ram? as far as i can see it was the 867mhz model, is that correct?

i am looking at getting a powerbook, as a multimedia/graphics machine. price is a factor though, so i am looking at the older models as a type of starter machine, until i can afford a new one (im using a pc at the moment, and i wanna switch!).

any advice? anyone use the older 'books for similar tasks [photoshop/director/freehand/flash]?
