I have enjoyed this forum until this evening. There is now a vibrating popup that Safari is unable to block. Does anyone else get this? I find this so annoying that I will not visit this site untill it disappears. John

Uh huh... nope, no pop-up ad here. If the ad is JavaScript (which obviously is isn't then) Safari would block it. It may be from another web page or from some other program - though I have only heard of this happening on Windows.

I've been using a windows machine until I get my powerbook and I've never seen a pop-up ad since visiting the site.

That's weird that you have that kind of problem. I have no problems at all with popups. I have none at all.

I think I may have seen a banner that was a little shaky, but I have never had any pop-ups. In my experience, Safari is very good at suppressing pop-ups. I can surf to pop-up heavy sites and never see one. Very nice.

Certainly NO pop-up ads with MacNN Forums and Safari (in fact, have there ever BEEN pop-ups here?).

I haven't seen a single unwanted pop-up with any browser than supports the blocking feature.
