Not that I'm asking anyone to perform a test scratch but for those of you who have had their 12, 15 or 17 Albooks for sometime now, and who travel a bit with them (e.g. school, work, plane, etc) ... would you conclude that the exterior casing is pretty scratch and scuff resistant (especially those who do not use sleeves)?
Yes, the aluminium powerbooks are definitely more scratch resistant. Had mine for 6 months now and not a single scratch, the really neat thing is that it still looks brand new. Again it really depends on how well you maintain it.
I carry mine around a lot, not a single scratch on the keyboard face or the front lid. But, my back side of the Powerbook has some scratches on it. I hope someone will come out with something that can take away and fix those scratch marks...
