recently when listening to iTunes, when i go to turn up/down the volume on my keyboard, the whole system gets delayed and the audio stutters...it seems i have wait a few seconds for it to figure out what to do...i have had my TiBook for about a year now...i have read about the sound "going to sleep"...it never really effected or bothered me much, if there was a slight delay of the trash can audio...but now its really annoying...and i think the problems began after installing 10.2.8...my whole system doesnt quite seem as snappy...do i need "keepsoundawake" or do i have a bigger problem?..any similar experiences?...

thanks

I've seen similar behavior with my TiBook 867... for what it's worth.

i didn't ahve that prob after the update, have you conducted any of the basic maint? repair permissions, use diskwarrior

also see if it happens booted from another dive, i.e. cd, or firewire drive.. failing that try under another user account.
