Anyone wanna make some estimates, for fun?

I'd bet...

Mid - 2006 or January 2007

Because you figure it has taken about 4 years for the iBook to get a G4. Not to mention the iBook is bound to be knocked back into consumer level (because right now the Top O line iB just about rivals the 12" PB, and iB is cheaper). Also keep in mind that the PB G4 cycle is nearing its end. It just doesn't get much faster than 1.33 in a G4 notebook. I say good luck getting a 1.42 in there w/o melting the thing.

Powerbook G5...?

I remember them doubting they could get a G4 in a notebook (because the heat issues and shiz). It took about 2 years from the PB G3 to the PB G4. But I'm guessing that Apple is working harder on getting a G5 in the PB. So I guess we will see a PB G5 near...

Late 2004
