The question is now, how many months will Apple let the Powerbook have the same processor as the iBook?
I'm thinking that maybe, just maybe, MWSF'04 announcement with availability at end of March like the Rev A 17 & 12" Albooks were scheduled at the beginning of this year.
They would need the next iteration of the G5 to be able to get the thermal/power issues solved. What is the timetable for the next G5?
Powerbook G5 in my hands within 6 months, I sure HOPE so...

I would say... March of next year to be shipped, so they should talk about it on the next Mac World in SF.

Not before MW/SF 2005, that's for sure, too many issues to be resolved. Waaayy too many.
You'll probalby get AlBook rev b and c before the FiverBook, that's for sure.
