Although I've had my iBook for about 8 months now, I tried burning a Music CD for the first time yesterday. Made the playlist in iTunes, clicked burn etc. Evrything fine, but the CD wasn't recognised as exisiting by three stand-alone cd players. Mounted fine and would play on the iBook no problem. Repeated the exercise twice with the same (lack of) results. Burnt the same mp3s in Toast. Again will not play on any CD player I can find.
Thought maybe I had a bad batch of CDRs, so repeated whole exercise in iTunes on my PC. CD created plays perfectly on everything.
So frustrating I have almost completely given up using my PC, but now ...
Am using OS X 10.2.8, Toast 6, latest iTunes etc. Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone offer any advice? I've got a horrible feeling that I must be missing something, but have checked all the settings I can think of. Data CDs etc, burn fine in OS X.
