You forgot the "Clock out for 5 PM and empower yourself to lead an impromptu offsite Team-building meeting at 2 PM with some of your colleagues at the nearest licensed establishment" option.

I was hired temp to fill an empty position. So I got things done at the best of my ability and i end up finishing a day's worth of assigned work ahead of time, when i go back for another assignment i am given something that takes 20min , but told to take 3hrs to do it.

I'd love to be busy working all day, but apparently my boss doesnt feel that way. It's kind of a dead-end job that I'm leaving next friday anyway.

You also forgot "Work from home until Panther arrives, then head to the office".

Packing my upgrade kit in the bag and leaving now.

BRUCK, who do you work for? If your boss is gone, why don't you just leave? I'm stuck here at work... blah. Posting like a madman, can't wait to run panther.
