The time has finally arrived, my much long awaited event ... I am now the proud owner of a PB15" Albook!!! I'm actually typing this post on it

Went into a local Apple Centre here in Sydney and coincidentally, these guys were having a birthday celebration and I got the PB for A$200 less.

I've literally had only less than an hour of experience on this thing so can't provide much feedback yet, but here's a couple of things:
- no obvious white spots or dead pixels (I will d/l the pixel checker soon and will wait a few days and hope white spots dont' appear)
- no Panther, but I've complete the up-to-date offer
- screen is great, very clear - even with bad eye sight, it looks better than my Thinkpad
- I love the size of the power supply, not like the bulky ones from most PC laptops
- the keyboard feels great, one thing I always loved about Thnkpads were that I think they had the best keyboard, but I think this Mac has taken the crown!
- and many more great feature such as great looking machine, etc, etc ... but I'm sure we've all heard these before.

However, a couple of things I've noticed which is no big deal but probably worth mentioning
- I find the screen tilt a little disappointing, the thinkpad could open up to a total 180 degree which when using say sitting on the floor with your knees bend was really good
- clicking noise, I've noticed some post mentioned their hard drives making a clicking noise - well I can hear a clicking noise but it's not the hard drive. for me it's the casing area above the DVD drive. When I tyue, sometimes my right palm may push slightly on the right palm rest and the clicking noise occurs (from the casing). So for me it's definitely not the hard drive and maybe this is true for some of you too.

Overall, I LOVE this machine ... very cool.

P.S. It's my first Mac ever, so the learning curve for OS X is steep and entaining.

Sorry for the long post but I'm pretty excited at the moment!!! :0
