Pointless tale of how much Apple Care rules:
I bought Panther last night. I was supa' pumped to install it. I got home, popped in the Princess Bride as my install movie, and went to plug in my TiBook as it was only on 10% battery left.
<plug in>
No light. Hmm...
<try again>
No light. Crap...
<move outlets and try again>
No light. Man...
<try every outlet in the house and both the normal plug and the extend-o cord that comes with the power adapter>
No light. Crapola...No Panther install on a low battery. Go to bed, single tear falling down my cheek.
This morning, I wake up and drive to the Apple store a few minutes from my house. I explain it to the tired, "I was here supa' late with the *Night of Panther* party"-looking duder, and they swap it out right there.
Apple Care rocks my world!
Panther install to begin.
