I was wondering ... one of the differences between the iBook G4 and the PowerBook 12 is the lack of Audio In port on the iBook.

Can this be ennoying ? I mean, what can one do with an audio in port ? I have one on my Dual G4 and I never used it.

Thanks

You plug in audio out from other sources... be it a stereo, etc, and use the line-in as a recording device..

Honestly I don't care about audio in as much as I do video in.. hehe

I'm sure it could be useful for some audio pros (which is why the PB has it). But since the iBook has a built-in mic, most regular users should be fine. There are always USB-based solutions for those who really need it for some reason.
